Bright outlook for Colas Class 67s released by Toton

THE two Class 67 Bo-Bo locos bought by Colas Rail from DB Cargo have emerged from the Toton paintshop.

Colas tweeted pictures of Nos. 67023 and 67027 at Toton on completion of the work at the end of February – both Type 5s appearing in a bright colour scheme.

The two Class 67s recently bought by Colas were repainted into the familiar yellow, orange & black livery at the DB Cargo workshops, Toton, where Nos. 67023 and 67027 are seen on March 1. PICTURE: COLAS RAIL

Work for the pair on Network Rail test trains (that can run at 100mph) began on March 8, initially running from Derby to Peterborough via Chesterfield, Doncaster and Grantham, and returning as the outward journey.
